National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal or NITW) is a public technical and research university located in Warangal, India. It is recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The foundation stone for this institute was laid by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 1959, the first in the chain of 31 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. The institute was renamed as the National Institute of Technology, Warangal in 2002.

NIT Waranagal is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2023 and 1400 Job offers have been made. The highest Package offered was INR 88 LPA whereas the Average Package & Median Package stood at INR 17.29 LPA and INR 12.6 LPA respectively.

Facilities & Fees

NITW has very good hostel facilities for boys. For 1st year B.Tech. and M.Tech. students, there is Ultra Mega hostel (Asia’s biggest hostel) which has 1.8k students capacity. For B.Tech. DASA and M.Tech. students they will provide single room per student and the normal B. Tech. students will be living two per room. From second year onwards DASA students will be living in separate DASA hostel single student per room. B.Tech 2nd year students are given few 3 floored blocks. Among them some blocks have 3 students per room capacity and other 2 students per room. 3rd year and 4th year B.Tech. students are given single room per student in (1k) Mega hostel which has 1k students capacity. All the hostels have good infrastructure and other services.
