IIM Ahmedabad, founded in 1961 is the second oldest IIM and is consistently ranked as the best business school of India. IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked 1 by NIRF 2023, among the top 100 Indian B-Schools. IIM Ahmedabad is known for its top-ranked 2 year PGP (MBA) program which offers admissions through CAT. IIM Ahmedabad cutoff remains around 80 percentile in CAT for shortlisting and students with over 99 percentile have a good chance of getting the interview call. IIM Ahmedabad is known for its stellar placements in the Consulting and Finance domain.
Admission :-
The admission will start soon after the CAT 2023 is held and the results are out. IIM Ahmedabad AWT PI Shortlist will be announced on 8 January, 2024 (Tentative). Final Admission offers are scheduled in the second week of April. IIM A Selects more than 1400 candidates for the AWT and PI Rounds and selects 440 students for the final selection round.

IIM Ahmedabad offers over 20 courses, out of which the most sought after courses are the 2 year full time PGP, 1 year PGPX and 2 year EPGP. Apart from these IIM Ahmedabad also offers ePGD ABA, PhD and FDP.
Placement :-
Placements 2023 has been concluded with 200 recruiters participating. Around 8 Intenational offers were made and the maximum number of students being placed in the Indian Business Conglomerate followed by Consulting conglomerates. More details for the 2023 batch are awaited.
