IIIT Pune is one of the 20 IIITs that is established. This autonomous institute focuses on Information Technology. It was established in 2016 and is considered an Institute of National Importance since 2017. IIIT Pune is a not-for-profit institute and has a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with ROLTA Ltd. and HUBTOWN Ltd.

IIIT Pune offers a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The Hostel Fee and Hostel Deposit is Rs. 29000 and is the same for all courses.
