IIIT Una is one of the 20 IIITs being set up under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme by the Government of India. The institute is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Education. At present, IIIT Una offers BTech and Ph.D. programs under different specializations.

IIIT Una offers BTech CSE as its flagship program for a duration of 4 years. The institute grants admission to this program on the basis of JEE Mains score followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The JEE Mains cutoff for the IIIT Una CSE program ranges from 23017-30234 for the general category students. 

Placement 

IIIT Una placements 2023 final report is out. The institute offers excellent placement opportunities to its students. Also, the institute has witnessed a steep rise in its placement statistics as compared to the previous year. The highest package for the year 2023 stood at INR 60 LPA where as in the year 2022, the highest package was INR 47 LPA. Some of the top recruiters who participated in IIIT Una placement drive 2023 were Linked In, Amazon, Bharat Pe, Expedia, Goldman Sachs, etc.
