IIIT Bangalore is a UGC-accredited Deemed-to-be University that was founded in 1998. The Karnataka state government and the IT sector jointly sponsor the university. According to the NIRF 2022 rankings for “Best Private Engineering Schools,” IIIT Bangalore is ranked 81.
